What role does the Metal Pall Rings packing play in the reaction tower? The Pall ring is a new kind of filler, which is improved for some major shortcomings of the Raschig ring. It is an eight-layer rectangular window on the wall of the ordinary Raschig ring. The small window blades are placed at the center of the ring. The surface windows are placed at the same time.

Pall ring packing has the advantages of large flux, low resistance, high separation efficiency and high operational flexibility. It is especially suitable for medium and low temperature (60-150 degrees) extraction and absorption in petroleum, chemical, chlor-alkali, gas, environmental protection and other industries. The reaction tower and the carbon dioxide degassing tower, the ozone contact reflection tower, and the like serve as other reaction towers such as contact fillers.

What role does the Ceramic Pall Rings packing play in the reaction tower? The Pall ring packing is an open-cell ring packing with the same height and diameter. It is based on the Raschig ring packing and has a window hole with an inner extending tongue on the ring wall. Each window has 5 holes. Or more than one tongue, each tongue is bent inwardly to the toroid, and the positions of the upper and lower windows are oppositely shifted. Generally, the opening area accounts for about 30% of the total area of the ring wall. Without increasing the surface area of the filler, the flow of gas-liquid two phases in the filler layer is greatly improved, and the hydrodynamics and mass transfer performance of the filler are improved.
